New source on pre-1849 California mail

Thanks so much for the link. When I wrote the Baja article for Mexicana I learned about the Monterey California cancel but could not find an image. It is extreamly rare. Only San Antonio in Baja and Monterrey in Alta California had cancelation devices made before stamps were introduced.
