Hi Rodolfo:

Thank you for your input; it seems you are right, what I tought to be the original district name is at the middle right part, but perhaps it is part of the date of the postmark.

Regards,

Fernando PM

Hello dear friend Fernando!
I can see the "T" and "CALA" in the District name, "Tlaxcala" (the ink is very stained) - regarding to the cancellation it look in oval form with "FRANCO" similiar to TA-1/9, but with different letters, maybe was used "Out of District",  my last probability is a unregistered cancellation.

Regards!

Hi everyone:

I just found this subject within an old collection, it is clearly a Scott No. 54, 40-68 (Tlaxcala), but I cannot read the district name or cancel, however there is something else at left that looks like a Mexico gothic name. I welcome opinions.

Thank you and regards,

Fernando Perez-Maldonado
