Probably good. Some (including Escandon and other Regency supporters) used Maximilian stamps as late as July 1867. Follansbee sold a Soyaniquilpan cover dated late July, 1867. The Post Office reopened June 22, 1867 so a May 1867 Maxi use is quite easily explained.
