Latest example to Lebong Soelit Dutch East Indies - just closed on on eBay. Bid at the last minute, but someone squeaked in just before I bid and jumped me by a few dollars. Good catch!

Rich: I'd like to see both the East Africa and Madagascar uses - when you have the time.
Bubba: Nice Natal usage!
Barral was quite prolific. Might be interesting to form a census of his cards...

I just got in a Barral PC addressed to Natal. The guy was looking for trading partners. What's interesting is he only wanted 20th Century stamps. Natal has some of the most interesting stamps but a very small issue amount in BCW. Anyway I thought you might enjoying see this one for a very exotic destination.

Rich: I went and re-read this one and one in my collection. They both have stamp references. I think he may be advertising "new issues" too.
Jerry: One of my more obscure destinations is Tennerife - though the stamp used to uprate the card is missing. I assume you've seen the latest listing on eBay to the Dutch Indies (your bid???). If so you may have some competition! What's your most exotic destination?
Regards,
Mike in MO

It appears from the message that he was also a stamp dealer.

One of my Mexico collecting areas includes postal stationery from 1900-1925. I mostly collect postal cards with a focus on destinations. I have several examples mailed by Andres Barral - similar to this example currently on eBay:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=360204220734
I have seen cards sent by him to the far corners of the globe - excepting portions of Asia and Africa. Can someone tell me what his line of business was? Thanks!
