Thanks Fritz!   That's exactly what I wanted to see.

Hi Farley and Meximailers,

The lines are not easy to see since the Moiré on the back is disturbing. Try to look against a bright back light and also over the surface. There are also forgeries around, but some of them are rather easy to detect.
Enclosed are photos of a 6 C. from the front and the back and also of plain paper with measurements in mm. Note the vertical lines every 18 mm. They can be seen also on the genuine stamps. All photos were taken with a back light with the rest around the stamp covered.

Hope this may help a bit.

Regards,

Fritz

They are difficult to see with watermark fluid, but show well with backlight. They are vertically laid and take on a wavy appearance. The ones I have handled are very closely aligned. Fritz may have an image that will show the wmk.

A collector of Dos Reales of the first design. Always having fun.
