This is one of the stamps I recently purchased in a collection of 1868 issues. It was listed as a thick figure, but looking closer I found it to be a thin figure variety. According to Stout/Heath this stamp should exist in perf only, but this one show no indication of perforations. It also was used in Mexico City. The stamp has a repaired tear at the bottom running through the '0' in '50'. District overprint measures correctly and there is no indication that this stamp is a Tipo.
Who can tell me more about this stamp and what I really have here?
