As of this moment my refund is residing in my PayPal account, in GBP.  I will wait a day or so, but I imagine I may have to manually transfer the funds to my bank.  (Hopefully no transaction fee because it's in GBP...)

Returned items last week by Registered mail(less expensive then Priority); Seller [Sussex] received them Dec. 24th.The 25 & 26 were Holidays both here and the UK; had PayPal notification of full refund including return postage early morning of 27th.Sussex fulfilled his return terms policy of rapid refund for 'any reason'.

And no, eBay cannot "block the money to PayPal", which is now a separate company from eBay.

I am in the process - raised claim - mailed off the stamps (tracking number required; only way to do that is USPS International Priority Mail, $32.95 USD) - they were delivered 3 days ago - awaiting refund.  Never again, absolute PITA...

Hello Tad, did you raise a claim to Ebay ? They can block the money if paid by Paypal. Do not miss the deadline. JC

For my money "sussex-stamps is "as crooked as a coathanger", and I will no longer have anything to do with him.  For the small minority of items which may be genuine it is just not worth the trouble.  I bought 2 lots, both of which were fakes - a month later I am still dealing with returning them for a refund.

The dealer is extremely unresponsive, and being that he is overseas does not make things any easier...

??? ??? .   Well, sussex-stamps has sold many fakes. For my there are 2 possibilities: or they are fakes or they are private surcharges for contract with the Mexican Mail (unregistered prepaid stamps). More interesting is to know if already exist any cover. I think that is the first option because in case of "add a new values" on the stamps they had to be registered
