Thank you for picking up on the number. I don't recall being able to read the numbering on the examples I found. But the design is nearly identical.

Mike:  Here is another Yucatan tobacco revenue similar to the one you initially presented.  This one has a small date on the left side (looks like 1916-1917).  Stamp is currently offered on Delcampe.

These appear to be recent "finds" but I am not able to say conclusively that they are genuine.
Roberto Liera states that they are genuine.
The problem I have with them is that "State" issues were only around for a few periods in history.  How could these have remained hidden for up to 100 years.
My intent is to include them with the Yucatan state issues with a footnote.

Mike:  I think the stamp you are asking about is one of three currently on offer on eBay - link below for anybody interersted.  The seller is a new eBay name for Filatelia Victoria, which I think is Roberto Liera. Not sure if he is on the forum or not, but a direct contact with him might yield some information.

Can anyone provide additional information on the attached Tabaco stamp. It is unlisted in Stevens and I am unable to read any date information.
